Zonta Birthing Kit Assembly Day at WHC
The day was a success!! 1000 birthing kits were assembled and boxed by keen volunteers that included 15 members of the WHC community. It was wonderful to see student Mum's, past and current students and many members of our staff [and their children] attend on the day. A sincere thank you to you all.
It is such a special opportunity to do something for Mum's in far away countries who cannot make it to clinics/hospitals to have their babies; there was a real sense of making a difference in our world and ‘sisterhood’.

Calling on all the artistic individuals of Western Heights!
We need you! The school is in need of a design for the front cover of our 2019 Magazine. We’re asking you, our talented students, to paint, draw, or Photoshop a cover that you think represents our school. Over five hundred copies will be made – it would be an incredible opportunity to get your artwork out there, and it would be wonderful on a resume!
Hand in final copies to your year level coordinators by Wednesday the 18th of September to enter!

Track & Field Athletics Chilwell
Athletics Chilwell is currently welcoming new members/athletes to join the club for the upcoming 2019 - 2020 track and field season.
Competition is held on Saturday afternoons at Landy Field, commencing on Saturday 5th October 2019 until February 2020
Senior athletes aged from under 14 to Veterans are welcome to participate.
Coaching is available in all disciplines, eg. Sprints, middle/long distance running, throws and jumps.

Caring families interested in other cultures are required for hosting Japanese students. Students will be visiting from6 November 2019 - 10 November 2019
