Music Matters

Preparation for our virtual Twilight Concert is in full swing. Ensembles are preparing for their recordings in Week 7 and its great to have a goal. 

On this point I would like to address attendance. Its very important that students attend all rehearsals. This includes being on time.  If you have made the decision to cease participation in Ensembles the protocol is that the correspondence should come from a parent rather than the student. Officially rolls can then be modified etc. This also allows for for you and the school to know where your son is, which is important for many obvious reasons including tracing due to COVID-19. 

Whilst I would like all students to remain in Ensembles I am aware that for many reasons students are unable to commit or lose interest.  I look forward to your continued support of the Performing Arts at St Pius and I can't wait to show you what has been happening at the school in 2020.
