Mathematics / Matemáticas

We have been estimating and measuring the length of different objects using informal units of measurement.

We have been wondering about reflective and rotational symmetry and how they can inform our designs of our cultural masks for Inquiry.

Literacy - Literatura

We have been predicting what a persuasive text will be about. Next up, we started to plan our own persuasive writing based on our Inquiry Topic.

We have been making connections between rap and poetry. Then we wrote our own rap songs using a range of figurative language (Click on the students name to watch their videos).

We have been reading the 'Roots of Rap'. We had to search for information in the text and trying to work out if it is to inform us, persuade us, or to entertain us.

Inquiry / Investigaciónes

We have been looking for different resources to help us research our 'I Wonder' questions, using our Resource Bank. Next, we went deeper in out topics, researching different books, and interviewing people as a part of our 'I Investigate and Record' stage.
