Foundation Enrolments 2021

If you are intending on enrolling into Mount Pleasant Road Primary School and have not yet submitted your enrolment form to reception could you please do so as soon as possible.

Dickins Room

Well, week one of Term three has been another in the 'new' COVID learning era.. The children have adjusted to the taking of temperatures in the mornings.  

We have spent time outside riding bikes, digging, cooking in the mud kitchen playing on the swings and utilising the outdoors.  We will continually balance this outside play and exploration with the cold winter weather.  Warm clothes will be essential each day.

The children have responded really well to working in small groups, there have been lots of moments where two or three children have worked together for extended periods of time. 

We hope everyone is staying safe and warm.

Moore Room

We have had a cold start to the term, however we have still enjoyed some great outdoor moments. We have enjoyed cooking in the sandpit, digging / mining in the pebble pit, bike riding and some lovely visits to the garden. Indoors we are enjoying the café, the vet area, play dough with shapes and some quiet moments in the reading nook.

The children have been very adaptable to seeing staff in masks and having their temperature taken in the mornings – thank you all for your patience.
