From the Principal

Term 2 Week 4 Kevin Kennedy

Dear Families,

School is settling into some sort of normality, with many of the daily classroom routines returning to normal.

We are keen to ensure that parents and carers don’t feel disconnected from their child’s learning and classrooms. Teachers are available through email and if organised in advance, available to be contacted via phone.

I would like to thank staff, students and families for the highly cooperative manner in which the COVID19 challenges have been managed. Not having parents and other family members coming into classrooms has been difficult at times, but generally speaking many of the students have responded well and showed increasing levels of independence.

We will be providing written student reports at the end of this term that will feature A-E grades. Due to COVID19 and the high number of students absent at various times grades may not be provided in all subject areas. Grades will however be provided in English and Maths with supporting comments. The report will also include a general comment.

More information about what is being graded and why will be provided prior to the reports being sent home.

If you have any queries or comments please contact me at the school.

Kind regards,

Kevin Kennedy

Principal
