Bishop Joe Scholarship 2020

Congratulations to Connor Turner who is our Bishop Joe Scholarship Awardee for 2020.

This is what his House Leader, Mrs Pearson has to say about why Connor is a deserving award winner...

"Connor has been a student at St. Joseph’s College since he started in Year 7.  He is thoughtful, hardworking, caring and respectful. Connor is always one of the first to volunteer his services and put his hand up to assist others. He is committed to his studies and grateful for the opportunities provided to him.  He is willing to move outside his comfort zone and not be afraid to take on any challenge that is given to him. He is always smiling, good humoured and keen to have a chat. Connor was the Intermediate Captain in 2019 showing great leadership not just within Brigid House but for the whole college. Regardless of whether it is schoolwork, sporting activities or community service he always strives to do his absolute best and supports others to do the same.
