A Message from the Executive Leadership Team

From the Principal

Term Two 2020 will be remembered by students, parents and staff alike as the most unusual and challenging of school terms. Quickly moving into remote learning and then a statewide lockdown at the end of Term One, eight weeks of learning from home (working from home and supporting children for parents/carers) then a staggered return to school over the last five weeks, all in the context of a global pandemic: it has been a roller-coaster ride for us all. Understandably at times this has challenged students to be their best and where required the college has responded with wellbeing support and disciplinary consequences.

In amongst this however, there have been many moments when we can feel  proud of our students: adapting to online learning, remaining positive during the lockdown and importantly showing genuine care for one another. It has been wonderful to see.

We look forward to seeing our students back at school in two weeks' time ready for the new term. Please take care, stay safe and well.

Protect - Child Safe

The College has a responsibility under the Child Safe legislation to provide a safe environment for students. We take this responsibility extremely seriously. Teachers also have a legal duty to take action where they believe there is evidence that a child is being abused. Please follow this link for further information and details about Child Safe and how to get direct assistance if you believe that a young person is at risk.
