For the past two weeks many students have enjoyed swimming lessons at Nunawading Aqualink. They have been learning to do many activities, including blowing bubbles, freestyle, backstroke, torpedos, kicking, diving and water safety. 

Performing Arts

Grade 1 and 2 students have been enjoying dancing in Performing Arts.

 

 

 

 

Visual Arts : threading, weaving, sewing, stitching, tying, knotting. Preps, and Years 3 and 4 explore threads and textiles.

Year 1 and 2 create mixed media sculptures of the GREAT BARRIER REEF.

STEAM

Grade 3 and 4 students enjoyed constructing catapults.  They tried them out with pom poms and packing peanuts.

 

Grade 1 and 2 were making mini machines using a simple lever to push a toy car.

 

 

 

 

LIBRARY : all library books to be returned to school by MONDAY 5 December please.

 

 

LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE back soon and we will begin stocktaking in the library. Could all library books please be returned to school by MONDAY 5 December: please check on bookshelves and bedrooms for stray books! Thank you.

 

There will be no personal borrowing after this time, although class teachers will still have a selection of books in their classroom for students.

 THANK YOU  WEN  and  WEI who continue to assist with the shelving of books on WEDNESDAY mornings.

YES! We LOVE  HELPERS in the library and we  would  LOVE  to see YOU!                                    

  We welcome family and community members. 

 

WHEN: After school drop off, or before pick up, for approximately an hour. You can come at any time that suits you. Message a friend to join you, the more the merrier!  COME along for a cuppa, catch up and to help us out.
