Design Technology Textiles – Year 8 Sewn Pouches

Over the last few weeks in Textiles we have been looking at the design and production process. Students learnt about what a Notion is (small features you would find on a sewn product such as; buttons, elastic, zips and clasps.) For their final project in Textiles they were asked to research a design for their pouch and they could make choices on the steps they followed and what notion to use. Pictured are the finished pouches that students made.
