Inquiry in TK

The Grade 3/4s are celebrating the success of their inquiry into increasing the biodiversity at our school. 

Students researched plants that are native to the local area, and the fauna that is attracted to them. Students raised money through a bake sale to purchase flowering plants and Ian helped us select suitable positions for class plots. 

TK and LK have planted the area between the garden container and the fence. Some plants are already poking their heads out the top of their protective covers, and when they all bloom are sure to attract a multitude of insects, lizards, and birds.
