Bentleigh East Campus

This year our College theme was ‘creating pathways to new horizons’. As a community, we used this quote to inspire us to live our Catholic and Lasallian Traditions, recognising that we can make a difference by being considerate of others and their needs, both in our own community and to those further afield. 

The announcement of the Middle Years Hubs and Senior Years Hub for 2023 forges new directions for the College, and a changing focus for the Bentleigh East Campus, which will next year become one of two St Bede's College Year 7 to 9 Middle Years Hubs. There has been much planning and work throughout 2022 in readiness for this eventuality, which will provide a focus and increased opportunities for the younger students of our College. 

This year saw the return of a number of College functions for families, with the aim of engaging parents and their children around school occasions following the period of on-site absence due to the Covid lockdown years. We aim to continue to build on these events, and look to consider additional options for family engagement. Thank you to all parents for placing your trust in the College, and the support you have given our programs and work. Thank you also for your support of the Parents and Friends Association, without whom these events would not run. 

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our Bentleigh East Campus staff for their continued efforts and dedication through this challenging and changing year. They provide wonderful support and connections for our students and families with school life.

And finally, thank you to the students - for your enthusiasm and involvement with your school. It is your approach and contribution to our College and to Campus-life that has led us to another successful year.
