Pene Pati Performa at WHS

Last Friday, Pene Pati of Sol3 Mio visited Western Heights for a quick performance for our whole school before he jetted off to perform in Milan.

Pene is a close friend of our own Rebekah King, and his visit was thanks to her.

Pene's performance was simply stunning - as you would expect. We sang a waiata in response, and then Zion led us in performing our school waiata. It was deeply moving to see our 11-year-old boy stand and sing for a world-famous performer. Equally moving was witnessing our senior boys perform a Haka for Pene.
