SMART Spelling

We have a very special visitor making her way to SKiPPS. Michelle Hutchinson from SMART Spelling is coming to visit the SKiPPS students on Wednesday December 7.

Michelle is going to visit all spaces and share a SMART spelling word with the students, she is also going to have a Q & A time with each class. Michelle developed SMART Spelling and personally trained all the SKiPPS staff earlier this year. 

We are thrilled that Michelle has asked to come back and visit us and talk to the students about the program and how they are enjoying it.

Classroom Libraries

Many fabulous new books have been purchased and have made their ways to the classroom libraries. The students are loving having such a great variety of books available to read in their Learning Spaces.

There are still a large amount of books that need contacting. If you have a spare night and would be interested in covering a couple of books, please see your child’s teacher or come and see me in the quadrangle at drop off or pick up time.

Thank you for your ongoing support, it is going to ensure that the books will last a very long time.
