にほんご の 勉強!(KIDS IN ACTION in Japanese!)

 

Prep 

The Prep children have enjoyed activities about the Ocean and they have learnt how to spell the names of sea creatures in Japanese. They listened to Japanese drawing songs and drew a fish and a dolphin in Japanese ways!

Year 1 

The Year 1 students have learnt about animals and they can spell some names of animals in Japanese! They also have enjoyed Japanese animal songs! Did you know that Japanese animal sounds are different from English ones!? Even animals speak Japanese in Japan!

 

 

Year 2 

The Year 2 students have learnt some Japanese verbs such as PUSH and enjoyed unique culture of SUMO. SUMO is a traditional sport in Japan. They played paper SUMO wrestling and learned how and why forces move the paper wrestlers.

 

Our Japanese Captains

Immy and Veronica are our Japanese captains this year, and they help Koji sensei and students with teaching and learning Japanese every Thursday! We are fortunate to have special helpers! ARIGATO! (Thank you!)
