Year 3 Swimming

The years 3’s participated in the school swimming event for 9 days. The first 7 days we just did normal swimming, but for the 8th day we did a safety day. We had to bring old clothes to school in our swimming bag, then we went to the change rooms we put our old clothes on and hopped in the pool and we weren’t allowed our googles on! We wore life jackets and tried to take off our clothes while treading water, then we saved each other on the boogie boards. The last day we had a really fun lesson.

Unit of Inquiry Presentations

Last week we presented our Unit of Inquiry projects on our chosen endangered animal. We stood up  were a little nervous, but we ended up doing an awesome job when presenting all about endangered animals from all over the world. There were presentations about land animals and marine animals (and animals that can survive on land and sea) and I was fascinated! They took about 1-2 minutes and were really fun to watch, and in the end we thought everyone did an amazing job and we leant a lot.
