Quesadillas for Afternoon Tea
What is a quesadilla? A quesadilla is a Mexican dish that dates back to the 16th century. Traditionally, a quesadilla is a heated tortilla filled with melted cheese and other savoury ingredients. As Amanda tells us, queso is ‘cheese’ in Spanish!
On Wednesday afternoon students created their own quesadillas using a variety of ingredients that was then heated in the sandwich press. Safe to say the students absolutely loved them, we look forward to putting it on the menu again soon!
Juice making
“On Monday at OSHC we made lemon and honey drinks with mint and dried rose, they were delicious! Ivy gave the idea to Seb and I and we helped make the drinks with a pitcher and lemon squeezes. They made the most amazing drinks!” – Imogen 6C
