Prayer

This Friday is Remembrance Day.  At 11.00 am we will pause to remember all the men and women of the defence forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice to work towards peace.  The College will hold a Remembrance Service on Friday and we are pleased to be able to once again welcome special guests to the College for the service.

Father of all, look with love on all your people, living and departed.

On this day we especially ask that you would hold forever

all who have suffered during war, those who returned scarred by warfare,

those who waited anxiously at home,

and those who returned wounded and disillusioned;

those who mourned, and those communities that were diminished and suffered loss.

Remember, too, those who acted with kindly compassion,

those who bravely risked their own lives for their comrades,

and those who in the aftermath of war, worked tirelessly for a more peaceful world.

As you remember them, remember us, O Lord;

grant us peace in our time as we long for the day when people of every language,

race and nation will live together in harmony.

HSC Concludes

The HSC 2022 concluded on Friday with the Design and Technology examination.  I thank Mr David Hunter, the HSC Presiding Officer, and the supervisors who conducted these exams.  We wish our Year 12 students every future success and look forward to enjoying their Formal this Saturday evening.

RAHT Roll Out

There will be a further roll out of RAHT kits to all students and staff on Friday.  NSW Health has advised the community that there has been an increase in cases in recent times. Parents are advised to continue to test when symptoms present.

Visit from Acting Executive Director of the NCEC

The College was honoured to welcome Mrs Sally Egan, the Acting Executive Director of the National Catholic Education Commission today.  Mrs Egan met with our student leaders regarding the ways in which we are an authentic Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition.  Our Year 12 2023 student leaders gave a great presentation which Mrs Egan praised as absolutely first class!

Christmas Twilight Concert

We will be holding our Christmas Twilight Concert on Friday evening, 18 November.  It will commence at 5.00 pm in the Junior School playground (weather permitting).  Please come along to enjoy our music and drama ensembles in their final performance of the year. Don't forget to practise your singing to join in some carols.
