Primary Sports

Hello and a warm welcome back to 2019!

This year will be our biggest and best yet with a plethora of sports and sporting activities planned throughout the year.

As well as the timetabled events students will have the opportunity to represent the school at regional and state-wide competition through both RAS and CIS in selected sports.

School Carnivals:   Swimming Years 3-6       21 February – Echuca Pool

                                         Athletics All Years            21 March – Jack Eddy Oval

                                        Cross Country All Years   5 April – Brick Lane

RAS Carnivals:         Swimming                            5 March – Oasis Pool, Wagga

                                        Cross Country                   10 May – Jindera Golf Club

                                        Athletics                       6 August – Alexander Park, Albury

CIS Carnivals:          Swimming                         20 March – Sydney

                                        Cross Country                  13 June – Sydney

                                         Athletics                             12 September – Sydney

Should your child wish to be considered to represent RAS/CIS in other sports, individual student nominations can be made through consultation with me.

Sport plays a huge part in the holistic development of every child; developing self-esteem, team work and leadership skills as well as developing lifelong healthy lifestyle habits, it’s also a great stress reliever and most importantly of all, it’s fun!
