EMR Senior Boys Cricket
Monday 13 February
Silcock Reserve
The senior boys cricketers travelled to Croydon for the first round.
We played Yarra Hills in the final scoring 115 from 16 overs. Reece Schelfhout scored an excellent 40 and he was ably assisted by some quick hitting and sacrificed wickets in the chase for quick runs.
Yarra Hills in comparison struggled to score quickly and were eventually all out for 49. Our bowling line up performed impressively with Rory Say the pick of the bowlers.
The team was well captained by Will Pleming, who tried to ensure that everybody had a chance to bat or bowl. Our next round is in about 3 week’s time.
MVP - Reece Schelfhout
Toby Robertson
