Open Day - This Saturday!
Open Day is on Saturday! We are preparing for a great day. Please invite any friends, family or neighbours who might be interested in coming along, and feel free to pop along yourself. It's a fantastic way to see some parts of the school you may not get a chance to see normally. Past students are most welcome too.
A big thank you to those parents and students who have volunteered to help on Saturday - we couldn't run the day without you! We're still seeking the assistance of one or two more parents - please contact Sarah should you be able to offer some time. Thanks for helping the school come to life on a Saturday.
Local Roadworks Impacting Access to/from School
We kindly ask our BHCS Families to please allow extra time to travel time to/from school due to the roadworks that are occurring on the nearby roads. We are actively working with the relevant parties to try and limit the impact to our school families and local neighbours. We very much look forward to the benefits for our students!
Fire Track - Staff Use Only
A reminder to all families that the lower carpark accessed via the fire track is for staff use only. All families are kindly asked to refrain from using the fire track and staff car park areas unless authorised to do so.

It's Tinker Time @ Kinder! Can you Help?
Team Kinder would like to introduce a tinkering project into Kinder. Tinkering offers children an alternate way to develop their fine motor, cognitive and communication skills by investigating, rebuilding, constructing and planning.
But how can we help, I hear you ask? Team Kinder are looking for donations of:
- Nuts
- Bolts
- Metal washers
- Spanners
- Screw drivers of various sizes
- Items that are in good condition but no longer work that we can take apart such as: computer towers, toasters, kettles etc. As we only have flat head screw drivers and posi-drive screwdrivers, we can only accept items that can be unfastened with these screwdrivers.
If there is anything else you think that we may want for tinkering, that you would like to donate to Kinder, please email Kirsty at kmeese@bhcs.vic.edu.au Thank you in advance for your contributions.
