Celebrating 100 Years of...
Kilbreda's Past Pupils' Association
2018 marks the centenary of the formation of Kilbreda Past Pupils’ Association founded under the patronage of Archbishop Mannix. A number of past pupils formed the association supporting a committee, which our records show, was led by Nell Cuddigan as President, Constance Wrigley as Vice-President and Alice Kerrins as Secretary.
The Association was active over much of the 100 Years and with the formation of the Kilbreda Stewardship Council in 1997 was reinvented as the Past Pupils’ Network Committee, an arm of the Stewardship Council.
The Committee has been successful in enabling past students to maintain and also renew their links with their Alma Mater and has welcomed hundreds each year to celebrate friendships formed at Kilbreda and to revisit the college. Each year a major function is held and this year it is a Cocktail Party to celebrate 100 Years of Kilbreda’s Past Pupils’ Association, which is a milestone in the life of Kilbreda College.
The Past Pupils' Association Committee is delighted to open bookings for this year’s major function at http://www.trybooking.com/VZHZ
This event, taking place on 10 August, is sure to be a wonderful gathering.
Members of the Past Pupils’ Network Committee and Co-Principals, Nicole Mangelsdorf and Teresa Lincoln, invite you to an evening of celebration of the Centenary of the formation of Kilbreda Past Pupils’ Association.
