Year 7 Interschool Sport

The Year 7 basketball was a really fun, active day. There was a boys and girls team as well as Year 11 student coaches, Mr Railton and a student teacher, who was also great!

The basketball was held at Rosebud High school with lots of schools and students contributing. Our teams were unfortunately unsuccessful in any wins.  Both games that we played the other teams were a mile ahead, but everyone enjoyed playing and watching the other games.  

We all especially took sides in the grand final, the boys Mornington and Rosebud, the girls Rosebud and Mornington.   Rosebud won the boys and Mornington won the girls.

Even though lots of us didn’t play basketball, we enjoyed putting up a shot, running and defending. We all supported our school and had an overall great day!

I can’t wait to see how the basketball goes next year!
