Year 1

The Year Ones recount their favourite parts of Year One in 2018:

Year One Recount- Sirwan

This year in year one my favourite things were market day and swimming. Swimming was so fun. We got to jump in the water. Market day was fun because we watched a movie and were buying things. I liked talking at assembly, I was happy to do it. Book week was fun we dressed as our favourite character from a book.

Year One Recount- Ali

One of the best parts of year one was the Shrek Production. I had a lot of fun and I was tired after that. I also liked Market day. I had a lot of cash and I got a lot of stuff.

I got a show bag and face paint. I also did painting.

Year One Recount- Charice

I love everything at school, especially the teachers. They have done a lot for everybody, especially me. I love all the teachers and all my friends in the school, especially Selina, she is nice.

I love the year one dinner, book week and market day. I had fun at all of these things.

Year One Recount-Selina W

The best parts of year one was the year one dinner because we had pizza and ice-cream. We also had drinks, the drinks were chocolate milk, milk and water. After that we had pass the parcel, I got candy it was so fun! I loved it. Then we did a disco party, it was super and fantastic. I danced with my friend Imogen and Millie D. Next we went home and I was sad.

My Year One Reflection - Mia

In Year One I have enjoyed learning all subjects. My favourite is literacy because I’ve learnt to write better so me, my teacher, my family and my friends can understand my writing.

I have learnt how to round up and round down. You cannot choose a tens or else it will not become an answer.

My friends are Tayla, Alexia, Millie D, Selina, Imogen and Milly R. We build sandcastles for Cristiano. When he comes he steps on them because he’s meant to do that.

I am looking forward to year two because everything will be new – The classrooms, the teachers and the students but only some students.

My Year 1 reflection – Tessa

In Year 1 I have enjoyed the year one dinner because I loved the decorations and the pizza and drinks.

I have learnt to not put capital letters in the middle of my words or lower case letters at the start of my sentences.

My friends are Bella, Milly R, Jade, Mia, Tijana, Tayla, Millie D, Ella and Alexia.

I am looking forward to Year two because I can’t wait for the sleepover at school and staying with my friends.
