Dante Alighieri Poster Competition

A quick update from our Italian teacher, Gaynor.......

Italian Yrs 1,2,3 and 4 

Ciao Parents,

Your children are busily working on their posters for the Dante Alighieri Society competition. They have been busily putting together word lists and simple sentences based around the theme ‘Under the Sea’ or in Italian ‘In fondo al mare.’

I’ve noticed that IMAX are showing a movie called ‘Under the Sea.’ I think if you have the opportunity, this would be great for the children to see. Their interest in the topic is high. I am so impressed with how well their Italian language learning has progressed which in turn really facilitates their overall English Literacy. 

Please refer to the newsletter notice pertaining to the new deadline for payment of the small entry fee and I strongly encourage you to enter your child in this prestigious competition. NPS has a history of doing well in this competition.
