Book Week 2023

During this week we will enjoy the many amazing Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Shortlist 2023. Click on the link to view the shortlisted books of the year. https://cbca.org.au/shortlist-2023
The Book Week theme this year is
‘Read, Grow, Inspire’.
Book Week Parade
This year we will hold our Book Week parade/dress up on Wednesday 23rd August (Week 6). The parade will be held at morning assembly and all parents are welcome to come.
Students are invited to come dressed as a character from a story that they love. Getting into a character is about imagining yourself into the role and doesn’t have to involve special clothing. When helping your child plan their costume for the day, please keep in mind that the best costume is one that your child will feel comfortable wearing during a busy and exciting school day. Please ensure that students wear closed shoes and something warm.
More information about Book Week 2023 will be shared with you in the coming weeks.
