A Mathematics Daily Review is a short (15 minutes) explicit teaching session that occurs at the start of each lesson.  It is a fast- paced session designed to strengthen previous learning and promote fluent recall.

A daily review consists of fluency-building, a planned cycle of revision and includes prerequisite knowledge for the content of the day’s lesson. This  teacher- led routine elicits student responses through a variety of methods including choral responses, mini-whiteboard responses, hand gestures and body movement, as well as individual and paired responses.
