Hang Back to Hang Out

On Thursday 31st August, PLSC held an after school social event for all students from 3pm – 8pm. Students were invited to choose two different activities to be involved in such as table tennis tournaments, art & craft, bingo & boardgames and karaoke. Shortly after 5pm, students were invited back to the common room to feast on pizza for dinner and socialise over a can of soft drink. After some technical difficulties, all students were gathered in the open space to watch The Proposal while staff served freshly made popcorn from a hired popcorn machine, and a Paddle Pop ice cream. 

Over 20 students across all year levels attended the event and the calm and relaxed atmosphere was a product of the maturity and respect displayed by all students in attendance. It is fair to say that everyone left for the evening having had a great night.
