Grade 2 

Wow! We cannot believe we are already in week 3!

This week in our inquiry unit, the grade 2 students have been looking at eggs. We have been trying to answer the question 'who came first, the chicken or the egg?'

The students watched a video all about egg farming. They then drew a picture of an egg and labelled all the parts. 

In maths this week, the grade 2's have been learning all about multiplication. We have been creating arrays to match our equations. 

In literacy, the students have been reading 'The Little Red Hen.' They have then created their own versions of this story. The students have come up with some great stories.
