Year 7 to Year 9
In their English studies, Year 8 students have recently been tasked with creating their own poetry performance. Students could present their poem by either filming themselves reading the text or by creating their own background video.
On Wednesday, all Year 8 students met in the auditorium for a poetry showcase, with a selection of poems projected onto the big screen. Mr Hagen, Mr McGrath and Mr Di Sabato had the difficult task of judging students’ work. Congratulations to all Year 8 students for their hard work with this assessment, and to the following students who won awards:

---|---|

Mr Jason Meynell and Mrs Rachael Knight
It was wonderful to see so many parents/caregivers, and students attend the interviews on Tuesday of last week. With the Middle School building being used for the first time for this purpose, it provided a more comfortable environment that will be used in the future. It was great seeing a few 'guided tours' to classrooms as we are delighted with our educational facility and how our young people engage with the opportunities it provides. Thanks to those who attended, making the time to have a conversation about supporting your children's learning journey, as we all work together to ensure we provide for their individual needs.
Mr Brendan McGrath
Head of Middle School (Year 7 to Year 9)
