A united start to 2019

This photo is a special reminder to us all that our three Tyndale schools are founded on and sustained by the Christian faith. More than 300 Tyndale teachers and support staff were listening and joining in with this beautiful choir at our commencement service in the Assembly Hall at Salisbury East.

Every day at each of our campuses the Bible is opened and the message of Jesus is lived out in our classrooms, laboratories, sports fields, kitchens, auditoriums, offices, workshops and playgrounds.

This Term Mrs Angela Williams (Bible and French teacher) invited all staff to share a favourite verse of Scripture. These have been circulated to staff and will be shared with students. It is a simple, but profound reminder of the central place of God’s Word in our lives.

Sporting events

The Swimming Carnival was postponed this week due to extreme weather conditions. The forecast of 40 degrees meant that our hot weather policy was invoked to protect the health of students and staff. The event is now scheduled for Friday March 8 at the Strathalbyn Pool.

On a tour of classrooms recently with Mr Potter, Head of Schools, I was delighted with the politeness, enthusiasm and joy displayed by our students of all ages.
