Administration Matters

Dentist Visits
We have really appreciated the dental service provided over the last 2 weeks by the team at Growing Up Smiling. Being our first time having them here, previously they have been to our Tyndale School at Salisbury East, it was a learning curve for us and I would value your feedback as parents and students. If you have a moment to send me an email to LynetteColebatch@tyndale.sa.edu.au , I encourage you to provide me with one thing you appreciated about the service and one thing we could improve on. With the large number of children booked in for their check-ups, some children's follow up treatment wasn't able to be completed this week and therefore we have made arrangements for them to return on the 16 to 20 September 2019.

School Tours - 22 August 2019
We have our Term 3 School Tours scheduled for Thursday next week and we encourage you to share this opportunity with your friends. Click here for the Booking Page
Invitations have also gone out to our Year 6 parents for a personal tour of the Secondary School on Thursday 22 August at 9:30am. This will be an opportunity to see the Secondary School at work and to give you a taste of what is to come for your 2019 Year 6 graduate.
Just a reminder to send back your RSVP as soon as you are able to allow us to cater appropriately. Morning tea will be provided from 9:00am in the Cafe.
Father's Day Breakfast
Don't forget to send back your RSVP for this great event for Dads and Kids. Friday 30 August from 7:30am to 8:30am at the School Cafe.
Father's Day Gift Stall
A Father's Day gift stall will be run on the morning of Friday 30 August 2019 by our wonderful team of parent volunteers. Gifts will be available for your child to purchase (Reception to Year 6) with prices ranging from $3.00 to $5.00.
Canteen Menu
An updated Canteen Menu will be coming out next week with the youngest in the family.
New to our menu options will be the introduction of some hot lunches specially made by our Canteen Manager, Mrs Mandy Batt - Thanks Mandy!

Odd Week - Lasagne $7.00 / Half size $4.00
Even Week - Soup and Bread Roll $5:50 (Soup variety will be either Pumpkin or Chicken & Veg)
Term 4 (Thursdays only)
Odd Week - Lasagne $7.00 / Half size $4.00
Even Week - Quiche & Salad $7:00 / Half size $4.00
New Student Management System (SMS)
A number of Administration staff will be unavailable for most of the next week (Week 5) as we will be in training in readiness for the roll out of a new software package for the management of student information and billing. In speaking for myself, I am thrilled at the introduction of this new Student Management System which will have us working with the same program that Tyndale Salisbury East have been using for some time.
This new SMS has coincided with the introduction of new enrolment forms which we have found to be more comprehensive in the information requested at enrolment. To enable us to have consistent information and consents on every student, you will receive next week a consent form covering a number of aspects of student life which we ask that you complete and return by the end of Week 8.
