Interest Day, Science, Maths and Coming Soon...

Interest Day

On Friday, 28th May,  all the students went to other small schools to participate in Interest Day. The seniors went to Blakebrook PS and looked at our natural environment.

Some tree hugging with a blindfold was involved!

The Year 3 and 4 students went to Caniaba PS and looked at an Australiana theme. The Kindergarten to Year 2 students went to Coffee Camp PS and had fun drumming and doing other activities.

These days with other small schools are a great way to make new friends, as well as learn.

Science Experiment and Some Maths

In week 5, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 carried out an experiment with cornflour and water. The topic was Matter and we looked at the different states matter can take: solid, liquid or gas. The results of the experiment were interesting and far reaching. (Cornflour was spread all across the playground and up to the bubblers...)

The whole school also participated in some fun and engaging Maths activities last week.

Worker of the Week

In week 5, Sonic and Mahni were rewarded for their consistent great work with 30 minutes free time on Wednesday afternoon. Week 6 recipients were Ebony and Imogen. Well done!
