1/2 News

In 1/2 we have been learning all about the importance of being Stewards of Creation and our Earth. We have loved watching videos about how we can preserve and conserve our environment and have loved exploring nature in our local area. This week we have begun writing persuasive pieces about why plastic bags should be banned. We enjoyed sorting the landfill rubbish within our school and brainstorming ideas about actions we can take to reduce this rubbish. 

We have also loved exploring Mass in Maths. We have compared the weight of different items in our classroom by using balance scales and hefting strategies!

It has been super fun!
