Kim Kenny (Education Support)

My family and I are very lucky to be a part of the OGPS community. I’ve worked here as an education support worker for almost 4 years and my two boys, Jackson and Ethan are in years 5 and 4. I spent most school holidays here in Ocean Grove as a kid and have been lucky enough to call it home for the past 11 years.

I was a horse mad farm girl and grew up just outside of Cobden. I went to school in Camperdown and moved to Geelong just after secondary school. Over the years, I’ve worked in hospitality and the equine industry and got to look after many horses and foals at an equine hospital before becoming a parent.

Whilst I’ve never had a passport, I’ve been fortunate enough to have traveled to many parts of Australia with my family. Our caravan, you could call our second home. We love getting away for weekends, the holidays and we’re always planning our next big adventure. We even lived in our caravan for just over two years in Darwin. We also love to bike ride and spend time at the beach.

Katie Buckley (Education Support)

My name is Katie Buckley and I have been working here at Ocean Grove Primary as a Education Support staff for almost three years. I spent my teenage years living with my family in Fairhaven with my parents, brother and two sisters. I feel very lucky to have grown up in such a beautiful spot traveling by bus to school along the Great Ocean Road. I was a chef for 18 years working around Victoria and living in England for two years. I have travelled to many countries around the world, one of my favourites is Italy. My husband is English and we live together with our two beautiful children Sian 9 and Oliver who’s 6. We have a gorgeous black and white Labradoodle dog called Bonnie. Most mornings I go to my yoga and Pilates studio to start my day. In my spare time I catch up with family and friends, walk my dog and follow the footy. Go Lions!! Everyday I feel lucky to be part of the OGPS community. I look forward to coming to school, to be around and support the wonderful children and staff we have here.
