Italian News: how to help at home

If you are interested in helping your child boost their progress in learning the language (and learning a bit of Italian yourselves!), I have attached a progress card for each year group.

Simply click on your child’s year and you will find a checklist of the vocabulary/phrases to be mastered.

On one side is a rundown of the items in English, and on the reverse are the same items in Italian. Students are expected to be able to read, understand, and say all the phrases by the end of the year.

Please note that items are not necessarily covered in the same order that they are listed – your child should be able to tell you what they are doing at the moment, or have already covered.

If you have any questions about Italian, do please contact me at
