Construction Immersion Update

Mr Andrew Devoy

Construction Immersion - Cubby House

Our Year 12 Construction Immersion students have been working hard to complete one of their final construction projects (Cubby house), boys were inspired by the Brighton Beach houses this year with their colour schemes.

The cubbies are built within teams requiring boys to work collaboratively to produce a quality project.

The project requires the boys to put into practice all that they have learnt over the past two years in the construction program, to their credit they have done an excellent job.

Most of the boys in this cohort have been rewarded with a school-based apprenticeship in carpentry and plumbing which is a great result.

The cubbies go on sale for a bargain price of $700.00, we have looked at similar cubbies on the market and they are all selling for well over $2500.00.
