School TV article: Friendship and Belonging

Dr Michael Carr–Gregg who recently presented at Marist College to our senior students and parents on the topic of Relationships and Masculinity, has this month written an article for School TV on the topic of Friendship and Belonging. The article gives parents ideas on how to approach the challenge for teenagers in maintaining and developing skills in opening up to new people, making friends and positive relationships in a school context. You Choose Driver Education Presentation

Marist College will again host Melissa McGuiness, founder of the You Choose driver education program. This presentation is a senior student with parent/s presentation to be held on the evening of 12 July at the start of Term 3.

Last year Melissa was invited to present in a new format with parents and their sons together. Feedback was very positive and Melissa has agreed to continue this powerful message about driving and choices in the same format.

Next week and email invitation will be sent to all Year 11 and 12 parents to attend the presentation with their son. Information on booking for this event will be included in the email.
