Ready... steady...cook!

We were happy to welcome Year 5 back into the kitchen last week. 

 

All of the Olympic excitement had us feeling hungry and we talked about how we fuel our bodies with healthy food. We used was purple sprouting cauliflower, broccolini, and an abundance of parsley from the garden.  

 

It was all about timing to cook our pasta perfectly. Once al dente we drained and tossed with fresh ricotta, lemon, garlic, and lots of fresh herbs.
