Introducing our School Council Members 

Ben Frater, School Council Employee Member, Financial Sub-Committee. 

Hello, I'm Ben. I have been very fortunate to have been a teacher at NMPS since 2018 and I am currently a Year 2 teacher and have recently been elected to school council as a member of the Financial Sub-Committee.

The highlights of time with the NMPS community have been the Ride2School days, the art festival, Book Week, and the yearly ANZAC Day commemoration. Being a veteran myself I have had the privilege to share my journey in the Australian Defence Force with the whole school community at this year's commemorative assembly.

I am extremely proud to be a part of a culturally diverse school community that works in unison in keeping this school great and at the forefront of education in this state.  I am most looking forward to getting back to pre-Covid-19 times. This will allow the school to engage in all the fantastic events we used to hold and thus allow the wider school community to fully embrace and participate in NMPS again. 

To paraphrase an old saying it takes a community to raise a child.
