In late March, 63 students entered the Australian Geography Competition. Koonung has long performed well in this event and so it came to pass again this year. Hearty congratulations go to VCE students Josh Simon and Alan Liang who both featured in the top 1% of entrants. That is the top 1% of students Australia-wide! Congratulations and good luck for your VCE
studies.
It gets even better. Just under 60% of students achieved a credit or better. This included 10 high distinctions, 15 distinctions and 10 credits. Congratulations to all involved. Certificates of their achievements will be presented at year level assemblies as soon as possible. Well done Koonung students!
