WELCOME TO TERM 3

Dear Parents/Guardians, 

The Year 3/4 teachers welcome you back to Term 3. 

Another term, and sadly another lockdown. Our students should be congratulated for being resilient and staying positive during another round of remote learning. We would like to thank all our families for their support during this difficult time. We are hoping to return back to our classrooms as soon as it is safe to do so. 

We would like to congratulate, and extend a warm welcome to Taylah Hill, who has joined 3A as Elena Dierickx goes off to a new and exciting journey. We wish Elena all the best and thank her for all her hard work and dedication during her time at Sunny Heights. 

We are also very excited for camp in Term 4. Please pay your $50 deposit to secure your child’s place. We would love all our students to go. Please see your child’s teacher if you have any questions. We will hold a camp information session later this term but have not yet confirmed a date. We will notify you when we have. 

Important Reminders: 

• Place your deposit for our Grade 3/4 camp to confirm your child’s place
• During the cooler months we encourage students to wear warmer clothing
• Students are expected to read at home every night and practise their spelling words
• Encourage your child to get on Mathletics, Epic and Sunshine Online websites to continue practising their skills at home 
• Thank you to our parents who have donated two boxes of tissues
