'St Anthony's encourages students to be curious, creative, and critical thinkers through a teaching approach that connects the values of Catholic faith to the thoughts, feelings and actions of our students.'

We finished off the year by making Japanese new year cards called nengajou in Prep to 2. We learnt how people say Happy New Year politely to people older than us and casually to friends.

The grade 3/4s played a new year game called fukuwarai (similar to pin the tail on the donkey) and gave fantastic directions in Japanese to their peers.

The grade 5/6s tried a dish called kitsune udon. We said, "itadakimasu" (thank you for the food) and had fun adding toppings to our udon, using chopsticks and slurping our noodles.

Have a safe and fantastic holiday, everyone, and see you next year.
