New Staff

Daniel Booker

Daniel joins us in the newly created role: Innovation Zone Coordinator. He has previously studied an Advanced Diploma in Game Art and Animation, and he has started a business making Virtual Reality training simulations and games for places such as UniSA, Roxplorer and even the Gynburra festival. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Product Design at UniSA. Creating ideas and seeing them go from concept to physical object is his passion.

Renae Brown

Renae will be teaching Health and Physical Education, Science and Christian Living for Term 1. She graduated from Masters of Teaching at the University of South Australia half way through 2020, after this she started relief teaching at Playford International College. She looks forward to helping all students find enjoyment in physical activity and plan for active and healthy lives.

 

Alex Fiegert

Alex Fiegert has joined the Endeavour Community from our sister school in Mount Gambier, St. Martins Lutheran College. Alex has taken up the position of Digital Learning Leader and is eager to bring his passion and knowledge for digital technology to the Endeavour community. 

 

Paul Glovitch

Paul has been appointed as Design and Technology Learning Leader. He comes to Endeavour after spending the past 16 years at Scotch College as Head of Design, Technology and Engineering, and for 6 of those years, as a head of House as well. He is passionate about engaging students' creativity and imagination as they experience their education pathway and giving them an opportunity to learn through discovery. He looks forward to embedding himself in all that the Endeavour community has to offer.

 

Erin Lockwood

Erin has taken on the role of Receptionist for part of Term 1. She is a recent graduate of Kildare College and will commence a degree in Speech Pathology at Flinders University in 2021. She is very excited to join the Endeavour College team and to be part of such a positive community. 

 

Bella Materne

Bella has been appointed as the junior support officer for the Physical Education faculty. Bella is a past student of the College, graduating last year in the Class of 2020. She will begin her tertiary studies at UniSA, studying a business degree in Sport and Recreation Management. She is excited to continue to bring her passion for all things sport to the Endeavour College community. 

 

Hannah Pavlovich

Hannah joins us as the new Workshop Technician. She will be in the workshop 3 days a week. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Secondary Design & Technology) at UniSA. Hannah is very excited to start her journey here at Endeavour College and looks forward to working with staff and students. 

 

Mikaela Pearce

Mikaela will be teaching Art, English, History and Christian Living at Endeavour College this year. She has previously taught Art, English and Humanities at Underdale High School. Mikaela is originally from Mildura in Victoria and enjoys creating and selling paintings in her spare time. She is looking forward to establishing positive relationships with her students and getting to know their individual strengths and talents that they bring to the classroom. 

 

Stephanie Ray

Stephanie will be teaching English, Geography and Year 8 Core. An experienced junior and middle secondary teacher, she is very much looking forward to becoming part of the Endeavour College community. Stephanie has just returned to South Australia after four years living in Queensland. Prior to moving interstate, she was the Humanities Coordinator at Mercedes College. Stephanie is passionate about the opportunity to work with young people as they seek to understand the world and their place in it.

 

Richard Schomburgk

Richard has been appointed as the Geography Learning Leader for 2021. He has come to us from Ballarat in Victoria where he taught at Ballarat Clarendon College; a Uniting Church school, for 24 years.  He previously taught at Pulteney Grammar School for 14 years. He is married to wife Roz and has two children, Jonathan and Nicholas. He enjoys most sports and the cinema and loves spending time with his family and Bernese mountain dog, Quinn.

 

 

Carol Thomas

Carol has been appointed as Adaptive Education Learning Leader at Endeavour College.  Prior to this, Carol has worked at Mercedes College and St Joseph’s Education as a Coordinator and in Adaptive Education.  She is passionate about making learning accessible and inclusive to all students so that they can reach their potential. She looks forward to working with the staff and students at Endeavour College and feels privileged to be part of such a vibrant community.

 

Peta Triggell

Peta has taken up the role of Learning Support Officer in our Year 7 classrooms this year. She has worked as an Education Support Assistant/Officer for 22 years, most of this time in an all boys College in Brisbane, but also in  Wodonga and now Adelaide.  She enjoys encouraging students to believe in their own learning abilities and to do the best they can.  Peta looks forward to supporting the new Year 7 students at Endeavour.  

 

Meera Venkataraman

Meera worked at Endeavour for one semester in 2019, and is excited to come back and join the Endeavour College community again. She has taught in India, Singapore and Australia and is passionate about teaching Mathematics, Science and Digital Technology. She is a volunteer for Code Like a Girl, a non profit organization to help young girls learning coding. She is passionate about encouraging young girls taking STEM subjects in schools.

 

Renee Wood

Renee has joined the College as the Food Technology Learning Leader and will also teach Research Project and Christian Living. She recently moved back to Adelaide after living in New Zealand for the past five years where she taught Food and Hospitality and was head of this department. She is passionate about cooking and loves sharing her creations with family and friends. She hopes to be able to share her love and passion for food and nutrition with the students at Endeavour. She is very excited to  be a part of the Endeavour College community.
