Vision for Learners

Opening Service
It was a great pleasure to acknowledge and celebrate past students as part of our Opening Service this year.
Our guest speaker, Jake Sadauskas (2010 graduate) highlighted the huge variation of gifts, interests and pursuits his graduating class had undertaken since leaving the College. He reflected on how many of these attributes were inspired and nurtured throughout their time at the College but significantly, also remained with them well into the future. His powerful message included his story of venturing into a field that did not even exist when he was at school. And with this in mind, encouraged students to love learning and embrace opportunities to fulfil their dreams.
We also welcomed back 2020 Dux, Muhammad Faraz Mangi who achieved an outstanding ATAR of 99.85. As Dux, he achieved A+ Grades in all subjects; Biology, Chemistry, English Literary Studies, Psychology, Specialist Mathematics in 2020 and Research Project and Mathematical Methods in 2019. He achieved Merits in Biology, English Literary Studies and Research Project. This year Faraz will undertake a Bachelor of Health and Medical Science (Advanced).
Beyond his academic pursuits, Faraz also served the Endeavour community extensively. He was the Cultural Leader in 2020 and was a representative on the Student Representative Council and Student Action Team throughout his time at the College. He was a member of various clubs and committees and he contributed significantly to the Rudolph Group EC 360 App Design.
Faraz generously gave of himself and was a kind, compassionate and empathetic student and was recognised for his contributions, achieving Endeavour Way Awards each year at the College.
We are so proud of the effort and energy that the class of 2020 put into their studies last year. The service was a powerful celebration of the successes of Endeavour College graduate students. We are all proud and excited to see so many of our students continue their learning and to thrive and flourish using the gifts God has given them and appreciate the inspiration they provide for our current students.
We also welcomed and installed our new staff and the Student Executive for 2021. As new members and leaders of our community, we are excited for their enthusiasm, initiatives and the expertise they bring to their roles.
Although we have celebrated significant achievements and successes at the Opening Service, we must all remember that we are all unique and have impact through our actions. Take time to share your awe and admiration with others everyday.

Class of 2020 results
In a year that required of students a level of persistence, resilience and focus not previously seen, the Class of 2020 achieved exceptional results. This amazing group of young people were resolute in limiting the impact of what was happening around them. Staff and students worked together to support each other so that each student could achieve to their capacity. Congratulations to every student for the efforts and commitment they showed to their studies. The Class of 2020 should be very proud of themselves and also feel empowered by what they achieved together.

SACE Art Show
Congratulations to Selina Mann who had her piece chosen to hang in the SACE Art show.
Students Pathways were diverse and showed the strength of the course counselling process in mentoring students to make sound decisions for themselves and their futures. 78% of students received an offer for their first or second preference university course. These courses ranged from health and medical fields such as Occupational Therapy, to Business and marketing to Education, Architecture, Foundation studies, Music and Aviation.
What makes me most excited about these achievements is the way the Class of 2020 embodied the College mission statement. For them, Endeavour College has been a place where, each student and staff member can develop their God given gifts and abilities for Life and community.
Well done Class of 2020.

Those Year 12 students who received A+ with Merit awards had their awards presented on Monday. The governor congratulated each one on their efforts. What an honour and an apt reward for these students.
