Principal's Announcements

The Rights of a Child

Miss Drummond and Mrs Loughran's classes presented a prayer at assembly last week about the Rights of Children.  They reminded us that everyone has the right to feel safe, good health and an education.  I reminded the children that we all have a duty to treat each other with respect at all times.  This means we don't laugh at others when they make a mistake or if they are different to us.  It is worth a discussion with your child to remind them about the importance of this.

New Building Projects

We are very excited to announce that we are going to redevelop our tennis courts into a multipurpose sports area.  The courts will be resurfaced with a synthetic base and include a basketball & netball court, a soccer pitch and T ball diamond.  The area will also have a roof similar to the roof over our current basketball court.

We are also going to refurbish our administration area which includes a new sick bay, Principal's office, Board room and main entrance to the school.  We hope that both projects will be completed in the first 6 months of 2019.
