Curriculum Information Sessions for Parents

Each term we will be running information sessions about the curriculum implemented at Weeden Heights PS.  This is a fabulous opportunity to come and learn about the programs that are implemented in the classrooms.  Our workshops will be about Reading, Mathematics, Writing and Spelling/Grammar. 

Our first session will be about Reading at Weeden Heights PS and will be held on Tuesday 12 March at 6:30pm-7:30pm.   This is your chance to hear directly from teachers about what the reading program looks like in the classroom. 

This will be followed up the following week on Tuesday 19th March at 9:15am with a session for parents who would like to help in the classroom with reading. This session will give you tips for reading with children and any parent who would like to help in the classroom will need to attend.
