Year 6 Graduation 2018

Continue the adventure

Congratulations to our graduating class of 2018. The students have experienced so much over their time in Primary School and in many ways it will feel like something is ending, but this just a pause break in a bigger adventure. Often, students find themselves crying - feeling anxious and uncertain about what comes next. But there is excitement in the unknown, adventure in the places we are yet to explore - graduation is a time for feeling proud of what you have done so far, grateful for the help you've received to do that, and excitement about what you might do next.

Step forward into the adventure Year 6, be brave and optimistic, you are all such accomplished and significant people, we look forward to seeing what you shape your future to be.

From the Year 6 Teachers

Tears, laughter and smiles filled the auditorium at last nights graduation. Our amazing Grade 6s dressed for the occasion, with button up shirts, funky socks and gorgeous dresses were abundance. On arrival students located their destinations on the departure timetable, filed through security to finally be seated amongst the outstanding decor to celebrate their final year at RNPS. This years theme, Let the Adventure Begin, encompassed student flights directing them to their final landing at high school. Our specials guests from past and present were also spotted within the venue. Photos were taken, party food was consumed and nervous hugs were observed.

Shortly after, the Grade 6s travelled to the auditorium, where a roaring crowd and proud families and guests awaited. As the students flowed onto the stage, collecting their certificates and walked through the arch, the RNPS community celebrated their achievements. We would like to thank everyone who made last night possible and a big shoutout to the Graduation Committee for making it a night to remember.

All of the best for each and every wonderful Grade 6 student, this year has been one to remember.
