A Message from the Principal

Welcome Back! 

Nervous parents shuffling about on the basketball court; children tucking their faces into Mum's skirt; big hugs from friends who haven't seen each other for 5 weeks; and eager students crunching through their minds what special piece of information they're planning to share about their holiday: it's been a big first week back at school but we've had a lot of fun. It has been great talking to parents, teachers and students this week about everyone's holidays: from the home-dwellers to the jet-setters and everything in between, it sounds like it's been a busy few weeks for everyone and it will be a welcome relief to get back to daily routines. 

We've got a super exciting year ahead, with the launch of Positive Education to our community, our epic school production, our first ever school Colour Run and a swathe of new, exciting learning planned for everybody. 

It was so nice to spend some time with our newest students yesterday, our 2019 Prep cohort; we were all so amazed at how quickly they settled and adjusted. School, and life in general, never travels in a straight line, there will be twists and turns for each of them along the way, but it was great to see how enthusiastic and ready they were for this next big journey in their lives. 

I hope everyone has had an equally positive start to the year and look forward to sharing with you all the joy and great learning that lies ahead.
