Hello Boroondara Community I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Annette I will be your new canteen operator.

Here is a little bit of background about myself - I have been running and working in canteens in both primary and secondary schools for the last 12 years.

I have 3 children - my daughter just completed year 12, my son is in year 11 and my daughter who has been at Boroondara Park since prep is now attending another school in grade 5.

I believe you are what you eat and that children deserve to have the best quality food just as much as adults do. Fresh is best and the majority of the food I will be supplying will be homemade using the best ingredients possible. I will endeavour to source local produce so supporting the community is something very high on my list.

I know the school has been without a canteen for the 2019 year, which has been very sad for the children and busy parents. I am looking forward to creating a new experience within the community for both students, teachers and parents.

There will be an online ordering system with MY SCHOOL CONNECT, as well as cash in bag drop off at school.

For the families who already have a My School Connect account you should be able to use the same log in. For families who would like to create an account you can easily do so by following the steps provided.

There will be no fee involved with placing orders from the online system; I am paying those fees as a thank you for supporting me.

Please feel free to pop in and say hi and let me know if there is anything you would like to add to the menu or change - I am very approachable and will take all feedback.

I am very much looking forward to meeting your children and providing them with a healthy lunch.

I cannot wait to start this new venture.
