Family Engagement

The turnout for our Loved Ones Dance this Friday was spectacular! Parents, students and staff were dancing and having a great time!  We had a record number of teachers and staff there throughout the event. Our parent volunteers, with Vicky's coordination, put so much work into the event and were there for many hours before the event helping to decorated and set up. I truly appreciate those of you who were able to attend!

Research shows that parent involvement in school events has a positive effect on school success and student outcomes. Family engagement is so important in ensuring we have a strong home to school connection. This year we have seen more parent involvement in our school through writing celebrations, teacher-led workshops and family projects. Let's continue to engage our families!
